Waves Mat

Description

The Waves Mat is designed by Victorian Aboriginal artist Annette Sax, Creative Director of Yarn Strong Sista.
Annette developed the ‘Waves Mat’ based on her own childhood memories of growing up by the beach.

Add ‘My Mob Going To The Beach’ (BIP200) and ‘Our Mob Kinship Care Felt Family Set (5)’ (OM400) to extend on children’s imaginative play and storytelling.
Educators may also like to include the ‘Tell Me Why’ book (MB1090) which focuses on Stolen Generations and disscuses Aboriginal identity.
